Since its establishment in 2020, the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) has been responsible for supervising and enforcing various regulations, including the undergraduate curriculum and syllabus of the Indian medical systems of AYUSH courses. Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) carries out online counselling for allotment of All India Quota Seats of Undergraduate (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS) and Postgraduate (MD/MS) courses under Govt./Govt. Aided Colleges(15%), Deemed Universities (100%), Central Universities/National Institutes and also Banaras Hindu University Institutional Quota seats of Ayurveda/ Siddha/ Unani/ Homoeopathy Medical streams.
